Outpatients, is used for initial consultations with your consultant prior to your procedure, follow-up appointments after your procedure, or minor procedures themselves. You may also report to Outpatients should you need any X-Rays or scans during or around your inpatient stay.
Whilst most Outpatient consultations will take place within this department, some specialist consultant’s also run private clinics in other areas of the hospital. These include clinics for Ophthalmic (Eye) patients, Cardiac consultations, and Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT). The different areas have access to specialist equipment and staff, and are usually supported by nursing staff from Parkside Outpatients. Your consultant’s private secretary will let you know where you need to attend, but if you are in any doubt please contact Parkside Outpatients reception.
