Just wanted to say a huge thank you to every member of staff on the ward I recently had a spinal surgery at Parkside in Frimley the nurses where exceptional as always nurses are beautiful humans as was everyone else felt really looked after and put at ease as this was my first time ever having a surgery.Posted on Tamara Johnson28/10/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a really positive experience for my surgery and all tests in the run up to it. Staff were polite and informative, and I felt very well cared for post-surgery as well. Wouldn't hesitate to return for any future treatment I requirePosted on Iain Tobin15/04/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing standard of care, terrific staff, wonderful facilities and equipment and as good as surgery can get. So grateful for all of the attention and care from the nurses, care assistants, catering, porters and of course the best medical team. A comforting and supportive experience. Rooms are great, beds comfy, great choice and standard of food.Posted on Jonathan Bastin13/04/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As they state it is NHS but with private treatment. As such yes there are NHS staff and facilities to recognise or experience. However, there is that private side where the food is much nicer (and I am picky), you own room instead of a ward, you own TV and generally made more comfortable. The ensuite was fantastic along with the room. Extremely clean, well kept and resemblance of a hotel bathroom. The food and drink staff are great. Very friendly, helpful and attentive as well. The facilities itself is NHS meaning any complications or advanced surgery you get the best of both worlds. NHS does operations the private sector just don't do. I was there for two nights and both day and night staff were attentive when pressing the buzzer and not to over disturb. They were all polite and helpful and quite a few jolly. My only complaint is they used their mobile phones as a touch. Yes that is fine to look around where they are going but, if it is to examine someone it really is not that appropriate. After leaving the ward they give you a number to call for any questions. There is a ward Dr Mon-Fri 9-5 (from my experience) and nursing staff 24x7. Most questions do get directed to the ward Dr unless they are easy for nurses to answer. Considering how the NHS are after discharge I can't fault this service and I would say it is excellent service to offer. After staying in full private recently and Park-Side I was very happy with ending up there for my specialist operation. If I had to have another operation again and private was an option I would choice Park-Side again without thought.Posted on Brian Thomson22/11/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service.Posted on Lindy Stickland07/08/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The staff are amazing, I have tried to remember their names as they deserve a mention! The Consultant and Annethetist made me feel calm prior to operation. There were two young ladies who looked after me in the recovery suite and they were fantastic, very reassuring. Nurse Patricia looked after me on the ward and was lovely. The food needs improving not the standard you would expect, for a private hospital, albeit a lovely smoked salmon sandwiche! No biscuits offered with tea and bread for toast was awful, also cold. No milk with cereal and paper napkins with sachets for jams/butter etc. However, this was a small part of my experience and wouldn't put me off recommending.Posted on Janet Clarke25/04/2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful staff, wonderful food, and amazing surgeon! Highly recommended. No complaints at all. Thank you from my heart! 🤗Posted on Marina Smith09/02/2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My dad was transferred to MADU in the Parkside Suite from the main FPH wards and though it is not the outcome we wanted we are forever grateful for the staff that made his final moments comfortable as could be for him. The staff were fantastic in keeping us up to date and supporting us. Thank you
