“I graduated with distinction from St. George’s, University of London. I trained in respiratory and intensive care medicine in London. During my training, I was awarded a Wellcome Trust Fellowship and was subsequently awarded a PhD from Imperial College for work on the molecular biology of tuberculosis.

I have been a consultant chest physician since 2004 at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. I see patients with all aspects of respiratory diesease and have a particular interest in pulmonary infection, obstructive sleep apnoea and persistent cough.

I have led a regional adult cystic fibrosis unit, a regional diagnostic service for lung cancer and a large obstructive sleep apnoea service.

Since 2013, I have been a member of the Trust Board as the medical director. I was awarded the MBE in 2021 for my services to the NHS during the Covid-19 pandemic.”
