Dr. Jeremy Taylor qualified from St. Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1998. After completing his basic surgical training at Royal Surrey County Hospital and passing the MRCS examinations in 2002, he pursued Specialist Registrar training in Clinical Radiology, which he completed in 2007. His training included rotations at prominent institutions like St. George’s Hospital, Atkinson and Morley Neurosurgical Unit, Royal Marsden Hospital, and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He also underwent focused interventional radiology training at King’s Hospital London’s HPB Unit.
Following the completion of his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists, Dr. Taylor successfully finished an Interventional Fellowship at St. George’s Hospital and received the Ratcliff Interventional Oncology Fellowship at UCH, London. In 2010, he was appointed as a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Consultant at Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, which has been rated as the best healthcare trust in the country.
Over the past five years, Dr. Taylor has played a key role in the Regional Vascular Unit, performing complex aortic and peripheral interventions. He has also contributed to the development of thrombolysis services for acute deep vein thrombosis and renal denervation for resistant hypertension. He is an active member of multiple professional societies, such as the Surrey Vascular Group, British Society of Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe, and the Regional Interventional Radiology On Call Network.
Working closely with the Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology Departments, Dr. Taylor offers various uro-interventional procedures and uterine fibroid embolization. He has also established a radio-frequency ablation service for the minimally invasive treatment of lung tumors.
Dr. Taylor is experienced in various types of diagnostic imaging, with a focus on Urology, Vascular, Gastrointestinal, and Hepatobiliary imaging. He holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Clinical Effectiveness and Audit Committee at Frimley Park Hospital and serves as a Specialist Advisor to NICE.
