Dr Gauraang Bhatnagar's specialities:
Dr Gauraang Bhatnagar is a highly qualified and experienced radiologist with a range of specialist interests. He qualified from Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2004 and holds an intercalated BSc degree in Anatomy and Biomedical Sciences. Dr Bhatnagar completed his basic radiology training at the Peninsula Radiology Academy in Plymouth, where he obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2011. He then went on to complete specialist clinical and academic fellowships in Gastrointestinal and Oncological Imaging at St Mark’s Hospital, Mt Vernon Hospital, and University College Hospital in London.
Dr Bhatnagar has also completed a year-long Academic Consultant post at University College Hospital while completing his PhD in Small Bowel Imaging. Since May 2016, he has been appointed as a General Radiologist with specialist interests in Oncological and Gastrointestinal Imaging at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Bhatnagar has extensive experience in the field of radiology and his specialist areas of interest include small bowel imaging, gastrointestinal imaging, and oncological imaging.
He is highly skilled in interpreting a range of radiological images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound scans. Dr Bhatnagar has published numerous research papers and has presented his work at national and international conferences. He is also actively involved in teaching and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Dr Bhatnagar is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and is highly regarded by his patients and colleagues.
